MANAGING TECHNOLOGICAL INNOVATION
Welcome to the Managing Technological Innovation page. The module looks to provide participants with the knowledge to understand and the skills to manage technology infused innovation at the operational and strategic levels. The management of innovation is inherently interdisciplinary and multi - functional, so we aim here to provide an integrative approach to the management of innovation. Specifically, we aim to integrate the management of market, technological and organizational change to improve the competitiveness of firms and effectiveness of other organizations. We shall argue that the process of innovation management is essentially generic, although organization, technological and market specific factors will constrain choices and actions.
Below are tasks that I have completed below for the above module.
"First say to yourself what you would be; and then do what you have to do. " - Epictetus (Greek Sage and Philosopher)
Managing Technological Innovation files - WEEK 1
This task refers to the first tutorial activities in which we had to research either a technology hero or zero and deliver a presentation to the class about what our findings were and how this particular topic in question revolutionized the technology industry today. The reflective writing was work completed at home, this is where I discussed my learning experiences of my first year at London South Bank University. Within this document, I went on to discuss how these experiences strengthened me as an individual and how I could use these skills in other places of work in an adaptive manner.
Managing Technological Innovation files - WEEK 2
This task refers to the innovation activity where we had to produce an application concept that could teach young students how to code. This presentation briefly goes through the design of the app in some detail with the concept being the main focus of the presentation (due to time constraints to produce designs for all app pages).
Managing Technological Innovation files - WEEK 3
These files relate to the activities carried out in Week 3 - Intellectual Property.
